The practice was established in 2004 by Jon Howarth to offer quantity surveying and employer's agent services in the Highlands and Islands.
Originally from East Anglia, Jon began his career in Cambridge in 1984 working on colleges and social housing projects. He attended Trent Polytechnic in 1987, graduating in 1991 with a degree in quantity surveying. After initial employment with a regional practice in the East Midlands, Jon was employed by two international surveying firms based in Nottingham. Gaining chartered status in 1993, he worked on national multi-million pound developments for major retailers as well as contracts for the social housing, defence and prison service sectors.
Since establishing itself on the Isle of Skye, the practice has worked on social housing projects, new educational facilities, private housing and tourism developments locally. Maintaining links with other property professionals nationally has enabled the practice to support projects throughout the country.
